An example of this is plantar fasciitis, which is when the tissue which runs along the bottom of your foot becomes inflamed. This inflammation announces itself as heel pain. Plantar fasciitis can occur through a sports injury or from spending a lot of time on your feet. It can be treated by changing your shoes, performing stretching exercises and using pain medication until it resolves.
